Eligible new WTMM members receive seven days of complete access at no charge. A valid payment method is required. The introductory trial is available once to a new member account. Existing paid members, former paid members, editors, and accounts that have already used a trial are not eligible for another trial.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, WTMM will charge $5 USD on the date shown at checkout and $5 USD each month thereafter until you cancel. Stripe processes the payment and displays the trial end date and future billing amount before you confirm.
Canceling during the trial prevents the first charge and preserves access through the trial end date. After a successful payment, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Billing can be managed from the Member Account.
If the first $5 payment after a trial does not succeed, reading access and publication delivery pause until payment is completed. If a later renewal fails after a successful paid period, WTMM may retain access for a seven-day payment grace period.
Members may choose Daily, Weekly, and Monthly email delivery. Email unsubscribe changes publication delivery only. It does not cancel a trial or paid membership, and canceling a membership does not automatically change email preferences.
Trialing and paid members receive complete web access to available Daily, Sunday, Monthly, and archive editions. WTMM may correct, update, organize, or retire publication features while preserving its published editorial record where reasonably possible.

WTMM uses a pseudonymous payment-method fingerprint supplied by Stripe to confirm whether the same payment identity is being used for another free trial. An abandoned checkout, payment retry, IP address, or device signal alone does not count as abuse. A verified repeat-trial request is canceled without charge and records one strike. After two verified attempts, future free trials using that payment identity are blocked. Paid membership remains available.
