WTMM uses your email address to create and secure your member account, deliver sign-in links, connect membership access, and communicate about account events. Better Auth manages secure sessions using HTTP-only cookies.
Stripe processes trial enrollment, payment methods, monthly charges, invoices, cancellations, and billing management. WTMM does not store complete card numbers. For trial-integrity checks, WTMM stores a one-way hash of Stripe's pseudonymous payment-method fingerprint rather than the fingerprint itself. Stripe may process information under its own privacy terms.
WTMM stores your Daily, Weekly, and Monthly delivery preferences and sends selected editions and account messages through Resend. Delivery preferences can be changed from the Member Account or through the unsubscribe link in an email.
WTMM uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website use, page performance, and reader journeys. Browser controls may limit analytics storage. WTMM does not sell member account information.
Account, entitlement, delivery, and billing-event records are stored in protected Cloudflare services. Complete member-only publication documents remain in private storage and are returned only after server-side access checks.
You may change email delivery, manage billing, cancel membership, or sign out from the Member Account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information, contact the editor. Some records may be retained when needed for security, billing, legal, or trial-abuse prevention.
WTMM records verified repeat-trial decisions, strike counts, and reviewed overrides so the rule can be applied consistently and audited. Abandoned checkouts and payment retries do not count, and IP or device data alone is not used to impose a strike. After two verified attempts, future free trials using the same payment identity are blocked; paid membership remains available.
